Apple has recently released the fourth generation of their higly successful iPod nano: the iPod nano 4G. As well as being offered in different colors from the earlier nano 3G the iPod 4G is a different size: its the narrower form, similar to the 2G model but is slimmer with overall dimensions of 90.7mm (3.6 inches) tall by 38.7mm (1.5 inches) wide by 6.2 mm (0.24 inch) thick, and weighing 36.8 grams (1.3 ounces).

Don't Buy this iPod Case

Don't buy this Titanium beauty. It probably won't fit the 4G anyway but this titanium iPod case will protect your new iPod very well, given its made from the same materials as Formula One cars and satellites. So why don't I recommend it: it costs $820: 4 times what most iPods costs! And its ugly!

In fact its possible to argue that you don't really NEED a case for your nano at all. The iPod is pretty robust, it has a solid state drive and the odd scratch won't stop it working just fine. But other hand: with this exception, most cases cost well under $10 and buying on-line makes sense as they are so easy to ship.
