These are a great, cost effective way of protecting your iPod touch against minor knocks, bumps and fingerprints. They will cushion your iPod slightly if you drop it too. They leave the headphone socket and dock connector exposed and are moulded in a way that still allows you to access the home and volume buttons while the case is on.
